Introduction

Welcome to MOMU Adventures Safari. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By booking a safari or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

Booking and Payments

  1. Reservations: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed upon receipt of a deposit.
  2. Payments: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the tour start date.
  3. Cancellations: Cancellations must be made in writing. The following charges apply:
  • More than 60 days before departure: Deposit only
  • 60-31 days before departure: 50% of the tour cost
  • 30 days or less before departure: 100% of the tour cost
  1. Refunds: No refunds are given for unused services or portions of the trip.

Changes to Bookings

  1. Modifications: Any changes to a confirmed booking must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and an administrative fee.
  2. Substitutions: MOMU Adventures Safari reserves the right to make changes to itineraries, accommodation, and transportation if necessary. Alternative arrangements will be of a similar standard.

Travel Documents

  1. Passports and Visas: Guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports and appropriate visas for entry into Tanzania and other countries included in the itinerary.
  2. Health Requirements: Guests must comply with health regulations and obtain necessary vaccinations and medications.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for all guests and should cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation, loss of luggage, and cancellation or curtailment of services.

Liability

  1. Responsibility: MOMU Adventures Safari acts as an agent for the various independent suppliers providing accommodations, transportation, and other services. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by these suppliers.
  2. Force Majeure: MOMU Adventures Safari is not liable for any failure to perform our obligations if such failure is due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, and strikes.

Conduct

Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful to other guests, our staff, and local communities. MOMU Adventures Safari reserves the right to remove any guest whose behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive without refund.

Photography and Marketing

By participating in our tours, you grant MOMU Adventures Safari the right to use any photographs or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes.

Complaints

Any complaints must be reported immediately to the tour leader or our local representative. If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, please contact us in writing within 30 days of the end of the tour.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
